As part of the ceremony at Truro Cathedral in Cornwall, the French dressed up Deputy Dibley Geraldine Grainger’s character to deliver a eulogy to her friend.
“It was such a pleasure and joy for Dibley to have this in her life (she was there) FUNeral on Saturday,” Dawn wrote in an Instagram post. “She wanted to throw the best party possible. She did. It was phenomenal. Truro Cathedral is filled with so much love.”
“It was his special celebration to celebrate his extraordinary life. What a complete kid he is,” she added.
Halinga said in her Instagram post, that she has “never felt such love. I have never felt such joy. I have never felt such a kinship with mortality. I have never felt so much life.”
French originally played Geraldine from 1994 to 2007.
