Fancy a burger? These Los Angeles area restaurants can help.

This year’s Yelp list of the 100 Best Burgers in America features four burger joints in the Los Angeles area, including some longtime favorites and familiars. There are 11 California locations on the list, which Yelp provides by identifying restaurants in the food category that have high concentrations of the “burgers” cited in reviews. These companies are then ranked by factors such as overall size and ratings in reviews.

No. 1 in the country goes to Fox Bros. Television. BQ Bar in Atlanta.

Here are the Los Angeles area burger places on the list.

No. 5: Father’s desk

Los Angeles’ representation of the top 5 a burger place accepts no substitutes. No need for all that with the appetizing employee burger. Dry-aged beef patty topped with a mouthwatering mixture of caramelized onions, smoked bacon compote, blue maytag, gruyere and watercress. Stack between French rolls, absorbing the flavor and savoring every bite. The original location is in Santa Monica, but you can also try Daddy’s Biggest Office in Culver City or even the largest venue in the historic Arts District in downtown Los Angeles.

# 12. Monte’s Good Burger

The vegan burger launched at Coachella, Stagecoach, and other Southern California music festivals is now available initially. Monty’s Good Burger location in 2018. Monty’s has expanded into three more territories since then, with a cheeseburger—a grilled patty with vegan cheese, house spread, lettuce, tomato, house pickles, and grilled onions on a brioche bun. Monty has locations in Culver City, Echo Park, Koreatown, and Riverside.

Yelp noted in its review, “Monty’s Good Burger, dubbed “The Vegan In-N-Out” by avid Yelpers, is everything a takeaway burger should be, minus the meat.

No. 26: Real Food Daily, Hollywood

The original RFD Burger on Real Food Daily’s vegan menu comes on a ciabatta bun with melted cashew cheese, caramelized onions, arugula, chipotle aioli, and jalapenos. There are locations in Pasadena, West Hollywood, and Los Angeles International Airport.

No. 78: In-N-Out Burger

Los Angeles Classics. The first In-N-Out Burger opened as a burger stand in Baldwin Park. By 1973 the chain had 13 restaurants, all in Los Angeles County, and had expanded to 50 locations in Southern California by 1988.
