Polk is the world’s first automated canteen. It allows you to prepare 300 different dishes in 60 seconds for the price of a meal voucher. It fits in two cubic meters and operates from an electrical outlet only. The company set up by Nicholas Jean has raised €4 million from 60 business owners, including Xavier Niel, Pierre Kosciusko-Morizet and Guy Stephan. It’s now a 25-person team in Paris. Its clients include Veepee, BlaBlaCar, NewenStudio, and Monoprix.
