Stade Rennais B at the bottom of the hole, En Avant Guingamp B draws, FC Lorient B wanders, Dinan-Léhon solid leader in N3

Like every weekend, Ti Sport offers you the summary of the results of our Breton clubs in N2 and N3. Stade Rennais B notably lost at the end of the suspense against Blois (4-3) while FC Lorient B dominated Bourges (4-1).

Setback for Stade Rennais B and Saint-Malo

Relegation to the lower level is fast approaching for the Stade Rennais reserve which was again dominated this weekend against Blois (4-3). The Rouge et Noir held the point of a draw until added time, but M’bemba Diakité released his team (90+4). With this defeat, the tenth in the space of fourteen days, the Bretilliens logically occupy the last place in the championship. Worse, they still have not had victory as the matches follow one another. A return to National 3 unfortunately extends their arms.

For its part, US Saint-Malo relapsed on the lawn of Évreux (2-1) after having dominated for most of the meeting. The Black Devils notably managed to quickly open the scoring through Steven Papin (0-1, 4th) before conceding the equalizer a few minutes later (1-1, 8th). And while the Malouins created many opportunities, the locals took the lead before the break (2-1, 43rd). Gwenaël Corbin’s players continued to push in the second half, but luck was not on their side. They fall to 7th place in the championship before facing Beauvais (11th) next weekend.

Also this Saturday, Vannes and the reserve of En Avant Guingamp parted back to back after a spectacular match (3-3). A result that does not satisfy either team since the Morbihannais who currently occupy 14th place are still in the red zone. After an excellent start to the season, the Costarmoricans (9th) are sliding more and more towards the bottom of the ranking.

FC Lorient B had fun

This time in Group D of National 2, the FC Lorient reserve continues its merry way. Traveling to Bourges, the Merlus did not tremble to win a big victory (4-1) against an inferior opponent. Kenny Nagera’s partners are now in 5th place in their pool and only three points behind on the podium.

Dinan-Léhon and Fougères still undefeated

In National 3, Dinan-Léhon FC continued its almost faultless run by overcoming AS Vitré (3–2) with difficulty. The Costarmoricains therefore still occupy the leader’s chair ahead of US Fougères who did not stall against Pontivy (3-1). The card of the weekend is to be put to the credit of the reserve of Stade Brestois who severely corrected the Stade Plabennecois (7-2). OC Cesson for its part made a very nice move by winning the three points against TA Rennes (2-0). In the other matches, Lannion went to win on the lawn of Saint-Pierre Milizac (3–1), the Stade Briochin reserve tamed Locminé (2–1) and La Montagnarde played Dol (4– 1).
