The 32nd finals of the French Cup for men and women will take place this weekend in the four corners of the country. Nine Breton clubs will be on the field with the aim of winning a ticket for the next round.

The Cup of All Possibilities will make its comeback this weekend after a month-long hiatus due to the World Cup. And for the 32nd finals, no less than nine Breton representatives are still in the running to shine the colors of the region. If the Ligue 1 clubs (Stade Rennais, FC Lorient and Stade Brestois) and D1 Arkema (En Avant Guingamp) will make their grand entrance into the competition, our little thumbs that are Pontivy (R1), Plabennec (N3), Lannion ( N3), Vannes (N2) and Saint-Malo (D2 fem.) will try to qualify for the next round of the competition.

Lorient ultra favorite, a trap match for Rennes

These 32nd finals of the Coupe de France are once again likely to offer us some great moments of football. Defeated by Monaco (1-0) in the Championship a few days ago, the Ty-Zefs will have the opportunity to regain confidence in Avranches (N1), an opponent who seems affordable on paper. For their part, the Merlus will leave largely favorites in their duel against La Châtaigneraie, resident of Regional 1, just like the women of the EAG who will face Tours (R1). Stade Rennais will have to be on their guard against Bordeaux, currently second in Ligue 2.

A Plabennec-Vannes derby, very heavy for Lannion

Stade Pontivyen, the last Breton club in Regional 1, will face Les Herbiers (N2), a team used to great adventures in the Coupe de France. Plabennec and Vannes will also meet for a 100% Breton derby which promises to be explosive. Finally, FC Lannion will play a historic match against Toulouse (L1). And who knows what Costa Ricans are capable of! Finally, among women, US Saint-Malo will challenge RC Lens.
