After concluding the arrival of Fahd El Khoumisti at the start of the month, US Concarneau formalized the signing of Clément Rodrigues to strengthen its offensive sector.

Even if the transfer window is still not officially open, US Concarneau continues to be active. While Fahd El Khoumisti made his big comeback with the Thoniers last week against Martigues, the Finistère club has completed the recruitment of Clément Rodrigues. The 22-year-old had a one-week trial in December which convinced Stéphane Le Mignan to hire him for the second half of the season.

Clément Rodrigues played in Regional 1

The Portuguese-born striker was trained in Angoulême (National 2) before joining FC Portes de l’Entre Deux Mers (Regional 1) in 2021. Centerpiece of the Girondin squad, he found his way to the net thirteen times which allowed his team to obtain promotion to National 3 at the end of the season. However, he has not evolved at this level since last summer, Clément Rodrigues signed up with FC Bassin d’Arcachon, resident of Regional 1. In very good form this year, the striker was decisive on almost all of the matches of his team, which currently occupies 2nd place in its championship.

Stéphane Le Mignan convinced by his recruit

The Concarnois coach spoke about his new striker on whom he is full of praise: “Clément has been a very successful young striker in R1 for a few seasons. We received him for a week and he showed a lot of qualities and real potential. He will be able to work and progress more with more experienced attackers. He commits for 6 months with an option for an additional year. »
