N3: US Saint-Malo and Guingamp B win, still no victory for Brest B and Stade Rennais B

Like every weekend, Ti Sport offers you the summary of the results of our Breton clubs in N2 and N3. US Saint-Malo notably dominated Chambly in National 2 (3–0) while Stade Rennais B conceded another draw against Chartres (2–2).

The nice shot of the US Saint-Malo

Still in bad shape since the start of the season, Stade Rennais B hosted Chartres this weekend during the 12th day of National 2. Pierre-Emmanuel Bourdeau’s men quickly stood out, but lacked precision. And the visitors took advantage of the awkwardness of Brittany to open the scoring (0-1, 26th). It was finally shortly before the hour mark that Rennes’ efforts were rewarded (1–1, 53rd), but unfortunately, the Chartrains regained the advantage a few seconds later (1–2, 54th). Before Stade Rennais, pushed by their public, manages to find the resources to return to the game (2-2, 59th). After this draw, the Rouge et Noir remain in last place in the championship.

Vannes lost his side on the lawn of Poissy (2-1). Dominated at the start of the match by the locals, the Morbihannais gave in following a loss of the ball (0-1, 26th). They then revved up by developing their game and obtained a penalty converted by Alexis Ebrard before the break (1-1, 43rd). The VOC was gradually gaining the upper hand while the Ile-de-France residents were facing weak weather. But following the entries of several players, the Pisciacais started again and Cheikh Touré ended up scoring (1-2, 77th). This defeat hurts the Vannetais a lot, who are currently in 15th place.

US Saint-Malo, for its part, made a very big performance by correcting Chambly (3-0). The Oisiens however remained on six games without defeat in the league. But the Malouins showed great collective strength to get a magnificent result. Even reduced to ten against eleven for almost a half, they managed to maintain their advantage in the score obtained thanks to Bilal Cissé (1-0, 14th), Sofiane Barroug (2-0, 58th) and Samba Touré ( 3–0, 90th). The Diables Noirs climb to 5th place in the championship and will face Racing Colombes (1st) next week.

As for it, the reserve of En Avant Guingamp also struck a nice blow against the Voltigeurs de Châteaubriant (3-1). And this victory will have taken time to take shape since the two teams were still neck and neck ten minutes from the final whistle. But Gobé Gouano (2-1, 83rd) and Jacques Siwe (3-1, 86th) offered an important success to the Costarmoricans who returned to National 2.

Fifth game without defeat for Lorient B

Still in National 2, but this time in group D, FC Lorient B faced FC Nantes B. And despite a draw on both sides (0–0), the Morbihannais had the opportunities to obtain a better result. However, they narrowly missed in the final meters to shake the nets. The Lorient people therefore have a fifth game in a row without defeat and are in 7th place in the championship.

Dinan-Léhon and Fougères end in a draw

At the lower level, Dinan-Léhon welcomed Fougères for a clash between the leader of National 3 and his main pursuer. And this duel at the top of the table will unfortunately not have kept all its promises since the two teams left back to back (0-0). Saint-Pierre Milizac dominated GSI Pontivy (2-0) and confirmed its place on the podium.

TA Rennes experienced a little slack by conceding a draw (1-1) against Stade Brestois B. Finally, the promoted Cessonnais won against AS Vitré after a disputed match (2-1 ), Stade Plabennecois went for victory on the lawn of Saint-Colomban Locminé (2–1), Lannion beat Montagnarde (2–0) and the Stade Briochin reserve won against Entente Samsonnaise Dol (3 –1).
