This Friday evening, US Concarneau and Stade Briochin respectively faced Paris 13 Atlético and SO Cholet during the 13th day of the National. If the Thoniers managed to win the point of draw (1-1) at the end of the match, the Griffons bowed (2-1) cruelly. Back to these two posters.
Concarneau braked
The start of the match between Concarneau and Paris 13 was rather calm between two teams observing each other. The Concarnois tried to develop their game without however managing to destabilize the opposing rearguard. Despite their shyness, it was the Parisians who then unblocked the situation on their first opportunity, to the dismay of Stéphane Le Mignan (0-1, 30th). The Tuna boats started again, but lacked efficiency when approaching the Ile-de-France surface. At half-time, Alec Georgen and his partners were therefore led against the run of play.
The Finisterians then continued to push to get back into the game. Georges Gope-Fenepej did not go far from equalizing at the start of the second half and Amine Boutrah tried his luck several times, but nothing seemed to smile at US Concarneau. And while the Breton club was heading rapidly towards defeat, the inevitable Antoine Rabillard finally found the net in the very last minutes of the match (1-1, 90+1). With this disappointing draw against Paris 13 Atlético, the leader retains his place at the head of the National.
Another disappointment for Stade Briochin
Everything had however started so well with the Griffons who had made a superb start to the match with intense pressing. Interesting in the game, the teammates of James Le Marer however encountered difficulties in the last gesture. Despite a satisfactory performance overall, the score was still nil at the break.
Upon returning from the locker room, Stade Briochin managed to materialize its good intentions through Amir Nouri once again (1-0, 53rd). This goal unfortunately woke up the Choletais who showed a new face. And after several rejected attempts, the Briochin defense finally cracked twice (1-1, 69th and 1-2, 80th). Saint-Brieuc therefore lost for the seventh time in the space of thirteen days and is still in last place in the championship.
