Richard Orlinski is the greatest French contemporary artist in the world since 2015. Most of us have probably seen his sculptures on screen. But now, we can now experience his real-life work all over Lincoln Road through March.
From creating sculptures by Justin Bieber and David Guetta to collaborating with Eva Simon for the song “Heartbeat”.
And now we’re teaming up with Torey Lanez and Nicky Jam for his latest music video, “I See.”
Artist Richard Orlinski has been busy on the music scene.
Richard Orlinski: “I wrote the song, I did the beat, I did the first line. Then Nicky Jam and Tory Lanez put the song on track, we put the first line and we mixed it together.”
Make sure the song contains a lot of heart and positivity.
Richard Orlinski: “I want something with good vibes of course, good energy that loves to talk. It’s a bit like modern reggaeton.”
He didn’t forget to include other artifacts in the song either…
Richard Orlinski: “I mix all my art together. For me, AI art is one thing, not many things. Painting, sculpture, music, acting, we’re all together, we’re all artists, we’re all creators.”
But instead of seeing the pieces on screen, you get to see them in real life on Lincoln Road.
Pop art fits perfectly into the neighborhood
Lyle Stern: Art is a huge part of Lincoln Road, and Orlinsky’s colorful, playful, and delightful sculptures give people another reason to stop, breathe, take a picture, and enjoy being here. »
The animals, especially his famous work, Kong, would be hard to miss.
Richard Orlinski: “He’s my symbolic animal because he can say whatever I want. She can play soccer, she can play tennis, she can drink, and Kong is also a beast with a big heart.”
Not to mention, it’s completely free to get close to the action.
Richard Orlinski: “It gives people an opportunity to learn about artwork that has been found elsewhere in the world and to appreciate art.”
At least the ones on Lincoln Road won’t come to life.
