the draw for the 32nd finals for our Breton clubs

The draw for the 32nd finals of the Coupe de France took place this Monday evening and our Breton clubs now know their opponents. FC Lannion (N3) will host Toulouse FC (L1) while Stade Rennais (L1) will face Girondins de Bordeaux (L2).

Thanks to their respective victories this weekend, Stade Pontivyen (R1), Stade Plabennecois (N3), FC Lannion (N3) and Vannes OC (N2) all four won their ticket for the 32nd final of the French Cup. A turn awaited by all football enthusiasts since the Ligue 1 teams will enter the competition. With Stade Rennais, FC Lorient and Stade Brestois, seven Breton representatives will therefore be present to do battle.

Pretty posters for our Breton clubs

Stade Pontivyen (R1), which is one of the little thumbs of the competition, will receive Les Herbiers (N2) in the 32nd finals of the Coupe de France. A poster that promises to be difficult on paper for the Morbihannais, especially since the Vendeans brought down En Avant Guingamp in the previous round. The draw also reserved very heavy for FC Lannion (N3). Indeed, the Costa Rican club will face Toulouse FC (L1) at the Réné Guillou stadium and the atmosphere is already looking crazy in the stands.

Stade Plabennecois (N3) and Vannes OC (N2) will also meet for a duel that could give Junior Noubi’s teammates a hard time. Finally, chance was rather lenient for our residents of Ligue 1. FC Lorient will move to the lawn of the Châtaigneraie (R1) while the Stade Brestois will go to Avranches (N1). Stade Rennais will challenge the Girondins de Bordeaux (L2) in a trap match.
